Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ
1. After everyone goes home at the end of the day, are the animals left all alone?
The property is maintained and monitored, 24 hours a day!
2. I have two dogs, can they board together?
Yes, definitely. As long as they get along they can stay together and you can save money. The second pet will only be charged a discounted price! We can even separate them at feeding time if necessary. Just let us know at check-in.
3. Can we bring their belongings?
Yes, but we must limit what you bring. We do not allow toys, leashes, dishes or choke chains, we'll supply those for you. We have bins of toys that you can choose from for your pet's use during their stay. You may bring food, treats, chews and bedding if you desire but you do so at your own risk. Make sure that everything is clearly marked with dog's name, (first and last). We attempt to wash every bed before it goes home so we need them marked with a permanent marker!
4. Do we have to bring our own food?
It is not necessary, we feed premium foods here, offering adult, lite, puppy and senior formulas. However, we will gladly feed your pet's own food if you provide it.
5. What if my dog won't relieve himself in a kennel?
No problem. We monitor and record what each pet eats, drinks and "eliminates". If we find that a particular dog is not relieving himself, we will take him out for quick "potty" walks at no extra charge.
6. Do you give tours?
Yes! We give tours between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00pm, Monday thru Saturday. Sorry, but your pet may only tour as far as the front office and the kennel grounds. Please join us!
7. Are they put in with other dogs?
Absolutely not! Unless specifically requested by both parties, we never have dogs share a run.
8. What if my pet gets sick?
That rarely ever happens, but if it does, we have a mobile Veterinarian available to us, 24 hours a day. If your pet gets sick during operating hours and is not too sick to transport, we will take your pet to his or her own Veterinarian for care.
9. Do you give medications?
Yes, we are very experienced giving medications and will gladly do so for a minimal charge per dose.
10. What form of payment do you take?
We take Visa, American Express, Discover and Master Card as well as cash and personal checks.
11. What if I can't get there during your office hours?
If you are running a little late, call us and we will wait for a few minutes. However, like any other business, we have schedules to adhere to and we have our four legged "guests" also needing our attention! Traffic is always an issue after 3pm, Monday thru Friday, so we recommend coming before that, if possible.
12. Will somebody be spending anytime with my pet or are they just left in a cage?
We have a large and very caring staff. Your pet will have an attendant seeing to their every need. We feed and provide fresh water twice a day and hose at least 3 times daily. In addition, we chart their daily intake and out-take. Every attendant is instructed to visit with each pet daily. If a dog is scheduled for exercise, there is even more interaction.
13. What if my pet won't eat while there?
We have an excellent record for enticing pets to eat! Our food is very palatable but if they still won't eat it, we have our "Spot's Stew" to add. Very few pets have been able to resist! We have also been known to use our famous Canine Cuisine and fry up hamburger if needed. Don't worry, we will never let your pet go without!
